CBO Protocol: Tips & Tools for Success

Meal plan.

This is one of the most powerful tools to set you up for success. Set aside 20 minutes a week to look at your schedule and make a meal plan. Some people like to keep it general while others like a more detailed plan. Experiment and do what works for you.

Plan to encounter dragons🐉

If you lived near giant, fire-breathing dragons, you’d be crazy to not have some kind of plan for when you run into them. Integrating a health protocol into your busy life is no different. Look at your schedule weekly and figure out where these dragons are. Do you have a late meeting this week where you know you’ll be home late, feeling tired and probably hangry? Is there a birthday party this weekend? Is it your responsibility to cook meals for a loved one while also making your own CBO-approved meals? You can definitely slay all the dragons and ultimately get the treasure if you have a plan.

No garlic. No onions. No problem.

Fresh and dried herbs are a great way to add flavor to your meals. My personal go-to dipping sauce for veggies & meats is a simple mix of chopped fresh parsley, sea salt, red pepper flakes, and olive oil. You could even make a modified chimichurri sauce using lemon juice instead of vinegar.
