Can I have coffee while doing a Liver Detox?
Coffee/caffeine isn’t recommended during the detox in order to see the best results. But if giving up coffee isn’t an option for you, 6 ounces of black coffee or tea in the morning is an ok modification. You can also add unsweetened nut milk (instead of creamer) on the non-fasting days of the detox.
I forgot to take the capsules. Now what?
Just take the AYU or FM capsules at the next scheduled time as usual. There’s no need to take extra capsules to “make up” for the ones you missed.
What are modifications for the Liver Detox if I don’t want to lose weight?
If you’d rather not lose weight while doing your detox, you can:
Include more high carb options from the approved foods list (blackberry, pumpkin, sweet potato, etc.)
Add spinach, blueberries, and/or 10oz of unsweetened almond milk to your detox shakes during days 3-7
Only do fasting days 1 & 2 during the first week of the detox, if you’re doing a 14- or 21-day liver detox. After that, all days are done as days 3-7 (detox shake for breakfast, vegetarian lunch, detox shake for snack, & dinner)
